User-friendly Car Hiring App Customised for Car Rental Service Provider

OVERVIEW

Capaciteam was approached by a car dealership in the USA which was looking to develop an e-commerce platform for their dealership. The company had grown rapidly and the size of their customer base had grown significantly. They needed a comprehensive e-commerce platform which would enable them to provide customers with an enhanced online experience, manage inventory efficiently, and process digital payments securely.

THE CHALLENGE

The technical challenge was to provide the company with a comprehensive e-commerce platform on a tight deadline. The platform needed to have an intuitive user-interface which would be easy to navigate for the customers. Additionally, it needed to process digital payments and integrate with the company’s customer database in order to provide personalized recommendations and product suggestions. The platform also needed to integrate with the company’s inventory database in order to keep track of stock levels.

THE SOLUTION

Capaciteam developed a scalable and secure e-commerce platform with a comprehensive set of features, such as:

  • Professional shopping cart systems with inventory and payment tracking;
  • Customizable user experiences with online search and site navigation;
  • Robust database and CRM to manage customer profiles, sales histories, and more; 
  • Mobile-optimized website, ideal for on-the-go customers;
  • Comprehensive payments and shipping options, both online and offline; 
  • SEO friendly and search engine compliant landing pages; 
  • Promoter analytics to track visitors and conversions;
  • Secure online payments system.
We utilized a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the mobile-friendly framework Bootstrap to ensure an optimal user experience. Additionally, we integrated the company’s customer database into the e-commerce platform in order to provide personalized recommendations and product suggestions. To ensure secure digital payments, we integrated the Stripe payment API. We also implemented an application programming interface (API) to integrate the platform with the company’s inventory database.
